GCERF - Resilience Against Violent Extremism with CREWSTUDIO

GCERF field video production using CREWSTUDIO to document community resilience stories in Bangladesh, Kenya, and Mali.

The challenge

GCERF needed a way to authentically document field visits to beneficiary communities across Bangladesh, Kenya, and Mali - capturing how their grants are strengthening resilience against violent extremism at a grassroots level.
Budget, accessibility, and on-the-ground realities meant the solution had to be low-cost, fast, and locally executed, without compromising authenticity or impact.

The goal was clear: show the real people and real stories behind the grants, helping donors, partners, and the wider public understand the tangible community impact of GCERF-funded programmes.

Platform Highlight

CREWSTUDIO provided GCERF with a lightweight, scalable production model perfect for international development storytelling.

This model empowered GCERF teams to continue documenting impact in real time, without the cost or logistics of traditional filming.

Client Impact

GCERF strengthened its global communications by showing real people, real communities, and real change.
The videos deepened donor confidence, offered transparent insight into programme delivery, and amplified the voices of local grantees working on the front lines of resilience.
