WILTON PARK
Virtual event delivery for AOSIS climate change summit 2020
wtv. supported Wilton Park – a UK government agency providing forums for strategic debate – by designing and delivering a fully virtual 3 day event, originally intended to take place in Belize.
The event highlighted the links between COVID-19 and climate change, and discuss how responses to COVID-19 can strengthen the case for more sustainable climate action in the lead up to COP26 and beyond.

To meet the key communication goals of reaching a global audience, maximising engagement and providing private virtual spaces for debate and discussion – wtv. deployed a range of technology platforms (ShareStudio, CrewStudio, Vimeo, and Zoom), supported by a team of 6 remote event producers, and a creative video team to design and deliver assets pre-during and post event.
Platform services within the virtual event solution included:
Live Twitter stream: pre-event Zoom conference for international journalists streamed live to Twitter
Zoom managed services: platform license, event configuration, presenter training workshops, session management
Live streaming platform and interactivity: branded portal with audience interactivity options including live chat
Live Twitter stream: pre-event Zoom conference for international journalists streamed live to Twitter
Video content creation: full event package including
- Capture and edit of pre-recorded presentations

‘Thank you so much for everything you have done to support the Placencia Ambition Forum, and make it such a success. We really appreciate how flexible, amenable and proactive you have all been, and most importantly how quickly you have turned around ours and AOSIS’ vision for the event, and made it into a reality. Can you believe it was less than 2 weeks ago that we had our first team meeting?’

‘The PAF would have been a completely different event had wtv. not been involved and your efforts made the whole forum very streamlined and professional.’
